Thank Natalie. I was quite surprised how easy it all was to set up, I had never used Blogger before.
I know - it is easy.
one thing I haven't figured out though - how do you link to other blogs as I know you can do that and i want to put one on my blog linking the book group's site.
Here's a little guide to adding a link to your blog...
Open up the bit where you want to put the link for editing. Type the link text such as 'manchester book group'. Select this text and click on the little icon that resembles earth with some black outline eyes in the top left. When you click this icon it will present you with a input box for typing in the URL of the website you want to link to, in this case http://manchesterbookgroup.blogspot.com
Click OK, the text will now be coloured blue and underlined. When you save, the blue underlined text will send you to the website address you typed in.
